FITNESS:     If you can handle a Base Building class, you have the required fitness level.

If you’ve enjoyed some beautiful rail trails (which PA is bountifully blessed with) then you know how much fun riding your bike can be.  However, if you want your fitness to continue to improve, it won’t happen on flat terrain.  You need at least some rolling hills, and road rides will add this dimension to your training/riding.

KNOWLEDGE:     Whether for safety or performance, a little instruction can go a LONG way

If you want to ride safely, there are a number of very easy, basic things to know.  If you want to improve your performance, you will need to use your body and your equipment to their full potential.  Most riders work harder than they need to, because they don’t know any other way.

EQUIPMENT:     The right bike can be the difference between a lousy ride and a great one.

Good
road or “touring” bikes can be secured for just a few hundred dollars if you know what to look for.  Try our bikes and see how big the difference is.  Why get in shape and have your bike negate all that hard work.
