Webster defines a Team as: “a number of persons associated together in work or activity”. That means, it doesn’t necessarily have to include competition, races, or other “advanced” rider concepts. However, it does require commitment to a common purpose or goal.
It could be winning a race, or completing a charity ride (or raising money for that charity), or even losing weight together. In any event, it’s hard to demonstrate commitment and common purpose if team members seldom see each other. The support, encouragement, and challenge of a fellow team mate or coach is what being a part of a team is all about.

At
Global Ride, all of our instructors have participated in team sports in one way or another; many in competitive cycling. We understand the value of a shared vision and purpose, and we wish to support that through our discount pricing, an absolute guarantee of improved performance, and any other ways we can beyond just monetary sponsorship.

If your team wants to help us shape our role in team supportive activities and programs, please don’t be shy in speaking up. Let us know how we can help you and your team, and we will do all we can to see you reach your goals.
